Over the past three decades, MacRostie Winery and Vineyards has established itself as one of the Sonoma Coast’s defining wineries, and a leader in a bright, balanced and age-worthy style of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Today, MacRostie is guided by Sonoma County visionary and winery founder Steve MacRostie, and talented winemaker Heidi Bridenhagen, who together are making the finest wines in the winery’s storied history.
Using grapes farmed by legendary winegrowing families including the Duttons, Sangiacomos, Martinellis and Bacigalupis, and from Steve’s own Wildcat Mountain Vineyard, MacRostie’s Sonoma Coast wines have established themselves as benchmarks, offering a rare intersection between labor-intensive small-lot winemaking, fair pricing and the complexity that can only be achieved by working with the finest vineyards.

The C.L. Lambert Family settled here a century ago and Jerry Lambert, of no relation, was drawn to this land six decades later with world-class winemaking in mind. And indeed, this beautiful haven is an ideal site to grow some of the best wine grapes in all of California.

Nearly twenty years ago we moved to Healdsburg to raise our kids and start a farm. Our pursuit of farming was life-affirming- an experience we dreamed of sharing. Today SHED celebrates that vision, one that embraces the beauty and dignity of farming, the true taste of real food, and the pleasure that can be had from serving others.

Medlock Ames is an estate fine wine producer located in Alexander Valley, Sonoma County, California. Started in 1998 by friends Chris James and Ames Morison, we consider our commitment to quality through mindful and organic farming to be one of our greatest assets. With Ames at the helm as our winemaker, our vineyards are farmed organically with no insecticides, chemical fertilizers or herbicides. Solar power provides the energy we need to run. Only 55 of our 338 acres are farmed, we chose to leave the majority of land in a natural state - reserving the majority of our acreage for oaks and wildflowers, not vines. Innovative and traditional methods are used to farm this boutique vineyard where vegetables, olives and wildlife also flourish. The portfolio includes Sauvignon Blanc, Rosé, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Red Bordeaux Blends, Malbec, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, estate bottled olive oil, and preserves.
